I received this beautiful Kusudama Flower Ball from my friend, Tammy, for the GIBBS 4 swap on the Cricut Messageboard. I'm not sure what brand of paper Tammy used, but I do know that she used double-sided cardstock. When I asked her she said that a regular weight patterned paper would probably be easier to work with.
So, I tried it out for myself.
I used My Mind's Eye papers and the overall size is a bit smaller than the one Tammy made for me. I used Zip Dry Paper Glue to adhere my pieces together as well as the Sugar & Spice ribbon from Michaels.
Here's the link that Tammy shared with me: http://foldingtrees.com/2001/11/kusudama-tutorial-part-1/
Try it out!!! I've already started the next one ~~~
Paula I love it. I'm going to have to learn how to make these.
