Sneak Peek for HappyKimber

Here's another sneak peek for HappyKimber, my partner in GIBBS Round 2 on Cricut.com's messageboard.

"Baby It's Cold Outside" layout

I made this layout using a winter line by Reminisce. It was the "Baby It's Cold Outside" project for Gretchabee, my partner for GIBBS Round 1 on Cricut.com's messageboard.

Christmas Wreath

This is a Christmas wreath that my son & I made for his teacher. We cut the leaves out using my Cricut, inked the edges and used Mod Podge to glue it all down. The patterned paper is Reminisce's Snow Globe line which is actually a patterned cardstock. The flowers and brads are from Hobby Lobby.

Birthday Card

I made this card for another nephew's birthday. The patterned paper is from Bo-Bunny and I used a paint dabber to ink my stamp and streak the edges of the card.

Recessed Window sympathy card

This is my very first recessed window card. I made it for Gramma. I used Basic Grey Periphery patterned paper and Core'dinations cardstock. I inked the edges and added bling on the front, the inside top has ribbon wrapped around the "box" and the inside bottom is stamped w/ one of my favorite sayings: "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours though and shines down to let us know they are happy." The flower is cut from the patterned paper. I used my Stardust pen to outline the birds and the flower.

Birthday card

This is a card I made for my nephew's 16th birthday.
I used Alcohol Inks for the background and paint daubers for the stamped image.

"Family" picture frame

This is a frame I made Gretchabee in GIBBS Round 1 on the Cricut MB.
The "family" cut is from Home Accents on a pearly patterned paper. I painted the frame w/ acrylic paint and used Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist on it also.

another sneak peek for HappyKimber

Here's another sneak peek for HappyKimber for GIBBS Round 2. This is the project for "April Showers Bring May Flowers". This was my first attempt at making this item and I had a lot of fun. My son even joined in and made one too!

"Let it Snow"

This is a mini album I made for Gretchabee on the Cricut MB for GIBBS Round 1. I used Bo-Bunny's Winter Whispers line for the papers and stickers. I really like this line ... so many choices. I had a blast making this!

"You Are My Sunshine"

This is a small chipboard album I altered for Heart2hand in the Shoebox Swap on the Cricut MB. I painted the chipboard, I used Stickles on the "rays", and the paper and alphas are from Pink Paislee. I LOVE that company! Check them out at http://www.pinkpaislee.com/. You'll be glad you did!

I made this plaque for Gretchabee for GIBBS Round 1 also. :D

Tri-Shutter Card

This is the tri-shutter card I made for Gretchabee in GIBBS Round 1 on the Cricut MB.
This was the first one I'd ever made ... they're pretty easy to make ... don't let it intimidate you. :D Splitcoaststampers.com has easy to follow directions.

This is a sneak peek I made for my GIBBS Round 2 partner, HappyKimber. It's the "I'm Thankful for..." project.

Stairstep Card

This is a card I made for Gretchabee in GIBBS Round 1 on the Cricut Messageboard. The paper is by K & Co and I used Worn Lipstick Distress Stickles on the big heart and the Stardust pen on the small heart.

GPV's frame from the Shoebox Swap on the Cricut Messageboard

I made this frame for my partner, GPV, in the Shoebox Swap.

Cuttlebug cards

Don't you just love the embossing folders Cuttlebug has?
The supplies I used for these cards ~~~ plain old cardstock, Glimmer Mist, and a sticker for one and 2 flowers & an ink pad for the other.
Who says cardstock can't be pretty? LOL

Wreath for Gretchabee on Cricut MB (GIBBS Round 1)

This is the wreath I made for Gretchabee in the GIBBS Swap on the Cricut Messageboard. I loved this wreath when I got done and it almost didn't get put in the box for Gretchabee :D
The paper I used was the My Mind's Eye Christmas Glitter paper. The base of the wreath is one of those pressed wood wreath forms you can buy at Michaels for $1.99.
